Aer Pur Romania, founded in 1994, is a multidisciplinary group of experts who strive to defend the right to breathe clean air, and seek to raise awareness of the adverse effects of smoking.
Antigona Trofor, MD. ,PhD. is an Associate Professor of Pulmonology, at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Iasi, Romania and a senior chest physician at the Clinic of Pulmonary Diseases Iasi Romania.
She is the author of 7 books and monographs, author or co-author of over 120 publications, project leader or member in numerous international tobacco control projects, coordinator of two national smoking cessation governmental programs and principal investigator in over 30 clinical studies in the field of respiratory diseases.
Mihălţan Florin Dumitru
Mihălţan Florin Dumitru served as president of the Romanian Society of Pneumology from 2006-2016, and as National Coordinator for Smoke Free Hospitals and Maternity from 2003-2010.
Mihălţan is also an accomplished author of over 500 papers, having been published in Romanian Revue and the journals Revue de Maladie, Respiratoire,Pneumologie, and Chest.
