Smoking or Health Hungarian Foundation (SHHF)
Tibor Demjén is the Head of Hungarian Focal Point for Tobacco Control at the National Institute for Health Development. His professional interests focus on smoking prevention and cessation, and, and he is a member of the Hungarian delegation of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention.
Tibor was also honoured by the Hungarian Minister for his contributions during Hungary’s EU Presidency in the first half of 2011 to achieve the set goals.
Piroska Kovács is a Sociologist at Eötvös Loránd University.
In the field of health development, she has three years experience working in projects financed by the European Union and Norway grants. Piroska takes part in the scientific work of the Smoking or Health Hungarian Foundation in the EUREST-PLUS project, and has authored three publications.
Judit Kiss has 16 years experience in the field of health promotion, and has been working at the National Institute of Health Development as a sociologist since 2000.
Since 2014, she has been working as a health promotion officer at the Hungarian Focal Point for Tobacco Control. Her main tasks: analysing data, compiling publications and research reports, participating in the development of health promotion programmes.
